The schedule for this position will be Tuesday and Thursday mornings. WHAT WILL YOU DO Coordinate and/or prepare healthy and nutritious breakfasts, lunches, and/or snacks. Conducts classes for parents, students, and other community members on such topics as nutrition, food preparation, and food buying on a budget. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Apply today if you meet the following requirements: Post-secondary education in nutrition, food services, home economics or related area. Experience in operating breakfast, lunch and snack programs. Ability to involve the community in the school nutrition program. Ability to integrate food experiences with curricula. Experience with recruiting and working with volunteers. Experience with community development programs such as community kitchens. Familiarity with inner-city and cross-cultural neighborhoods. Experience with record-keeping systems Valid driver's license and vehicle required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
