WHAT WILL YOU DO The Locksmith is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and alteration of locks, key systems, and door hardware for all School Division buildings and structures. The Locksmith maintains the highest level of security, access and safety in all schools in accordance with building codes and standard security procedures. The Locksmith works as part of the Trades team to support safe, healthy, clean, and functional schools and environments for students, staff, and communities to learn and work. Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent. Valid Class 5 driver’s license. Journeyperson certification in the locksmith trade. Three (3) years’ experience installing, maintaining, repairing, and altering a variety of locks, key systems, and door hardware in a commercial environment.
