WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Supervisor of Strategic Supports leads an integrated planning process that articulates the strategic direction for Regina Public Schools and provides a unifying framework for our staff, schools, partners, and communities. Applying expertise in research, analysis, and evaluation, this position supports datadriven decision-making and sound policies/procedures across both educational programs and support services and leads risk mitigation, emergency planning and business continuity efforts at a Division level.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Division Services/CFO, the Supervisor of Strategic Supports is a strategic leader on the senior management team and is part of a team that works together to understand and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion outcomes and contributes to the ongoing sustainability and success of Regina Public Schools .

- A Bachelor’s degree in public policy, urban planning, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public policy development, strategic planning, performance measurement, capital planning, and research.
- Master’s level in a related discipline is considered a definite asset.
- Project Management designation is considered an asset.
- Experience in the education sector is considered an asset
- Advanced working knowledge of strategic planning principles and practices, performance metrics, data collection and analysis and relevant provincial acts, regulations, municipal land use bylaws, and municipal plans to the School Division context.
- Proven ability to lead diverse, multi-disciplinary project teams through complex projects and build consensus between multiple stakeholders to resolve conflicting interests and points of view.
- Ability to challenge, be candid, and work through different perspectives while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Leadership Competencies: Accountability, Leadership and Collaboration, Results Oriented, Initiative, Influencing Others, Fostering Teamwork
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check for the duration of employment.
