THE OPPORTUNITY AWAITS YOU

 

The Food Service Assistant supports the Food Service Technician in the Commerical Cooking Program and kitchen to maintain smooth operations by performing a variety of general kitchen duties.

 

This is a temporary part-time position scheduled to work Monday - Friday from 11:21AM to 3:45PM.

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• wash, sanitize, and store items in the dish area
• clean and santize the kitchen area
• prepare and organize the kitchen for the following day
• assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance
• cash register operation and accounting of daily sales as required

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

Apply today if you meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent 
• General knowldge of kitchen duties, particularly at the commercial food service level
• Training in cooking or Home Economics and Food Handler certification would be an asset
