The Head Facility Technician ensures that Division facilities and grounds provide safe, clean environments for learning and working and works collegially as part of both the school team and the Division-level Facilities team.  Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining heating plant systems, performing a broad range of preventive maintenance, general maintenance, repair and cleaning functions, identifying and documenting more significant work needed, supporting community user groups and leading the work of the school-based Facilities team.

Selection will be made on the basis of the applicant senior on the seniority list in the following order:

Start/End Date: February 9, 2026 to June 26, 2026 or when the incumbent returns, whichever date is earlier.

 

Note: The successful applicant will return to their original position following the completion of the temporary contract.
