The Small Equipment Specialist is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of indoor and outdoor power equipment used for school ground maintenance and facility operations to ensure all equipment is safe and operational. The Small Equipment Specialist works as part of the Facilities team to support safe, healthy, clean, and functional schools and environments for students, staff, and communities to learn and work. 

 

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Outdoor Power Equipment or Small Engine Repair certificate.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of practical experience in small engine repair and maintenance.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license.
